WOTC has two purposes:
•To promote the hiring of individuals who qualify as a member of a target group.
•To provide a federal tax credit to employers who hire these individuals.
This program can generate up to $9,600 in dollar-for-dollar tax credits for each hire.
It's available to any business, and there's even a way for tax-exempt organizations to utilize it.
The workshop is free to North Valley EAC members and low-cost for non-members.
About your speaker
Carrian Foster Regional Supervisor for the SMART Workforce Center,
an America Job Center of California.
Carrian brings over 20 years of management and
customer service excellence serving property management companies
throughout Southern California. Before joining the Team at SMART,
Carrian served her community as the Guest Experience Officer at Turtle
Bay Exploration Park. Carrian is passionate about putting people to
