Shasta Mud Run

Conquer either the 5K or 10K trails through multiple muddy obstacles, and fly down the colossal mud slides. Man & Nature have teamed up to create this spectacular event for the whole family. Designed for the serious athlete or those just wanting some adventurous family entertainment, come and immerse yourself in muddy fun on Saturday, September 12, 2015, and be prepared to run, climb, crawl, leap and then finish in mud covered glory. After you conquer the course, celebrate your victory with music and great food from local vendors. Proceeds from this event will benefit the programs of the Youth Violence Prevention Council. YVPC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that manages several essential programs serving youth in Shasta County including, Youth Peer Court, PlusONE Mentors, Mad City Money, Triple P, Youth Fire Prevention, Graffiti Eradication, and Shasta Youth Leadership Camp (SYLC).
