The Shasta Historical Society is teaming up with news  media representatives for our August monthly program. The journey will lead us through the history and transformation of each media form and what their future looks like. Representatives from the Record Searchlight, NSPR and KRCR will be presenting, including: Silas Lyons, Executive Editor of the Record Searchlight; Phil Wilke, General Manager of North State Public Radio and Mike Mangas, Anchor for KRCR. We hope to hear some of their favorite stories from over the years as well. The discussion will be followed by a Q & A session at the end of the presentation.  The program will be recorded and posted on the Shasta Historical Society website (Members Only section) for later viewing.
