Free soft skills workshop! The New World of Work (NWoW) is a nationally recognized curriculum for building employability skills needed in for the 21st century. Rachelle Modena, the Small Business Deputy Sector Navigator will facilitate an interactive, 90-minute workshop focused on resilience. Participants will gain understanding of what resilience is and the importance of developing this skill for success as a student, an employee, and life in general. Participants will learn concrete skills and tips to develop this skill. Community members that are not Shasta College students will receive a code via email for a complementary parking pass upon registration. A free pizza and salad lunch will be provided.
