DBE Certification Workshop

This workshop is for businesses interested in becoming certified to perform work on federal transportation projects. The DBE Certification workshop will provide attendees information required to complete the DBE application. Eligibility includes business owners who are socially and economically disadvantaged, typically women & minorities, but exceptions exist for other disadvantaged groups. Below is a list of topics covered in the DBE Certification Workshop: • Explanation of the California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) • Where to apply and what are the benefits of being DBE certified. • Who is eligible to be a DBE and how to complete the DBE application. • After Certification, What's Next! • Networking and Marketing tips to meet prime contractors.
