(hardware, software, OS, apps, files etc.) Apps and files: creating your own / using existing files. Saving your work: memory / storage / removable devices (i.e., thumb drive) Keyboard shortcuts, settings, options and user-friendly features Introduction to word processing, spreadsheets programs Intro to Internet concepts / services Information safety / security Web Search, Social Media and other useful online services. This computer lab will provide individualized instruction in a self-paced environment. Coursework will be specific to participants area of study. This beginner course is for individuals who are struggling with basic computer skills, who would like to become comfortable and effective using a computer in their daily / work lives. She is passionate about teaching local people to keep up-to-date with computer skills.
