Adult Summer Sailing Classes

Learn how to sail on Whiskeytown Lake.  Class registration now open.

Learn to “SAIL” (i.e., rig the boat with sails, break down the sails, how to read the wind, approach docks, man overboard drills, capsizing and recovery, and more.
 *fee Per Student (can bring one crew) : $300 for 4 days.
Class Time Daily:  1:00pm-5:00pm                                     
Summer Classes
June Class #1:  Tuesday 22nd, Thursday 24th, Tuesday 29th, & Thursday July 1st
July Class #2:  Tuesday 13th, Thursday 15th, Tuesday 20th, & Thursday 22nd
July Class #3:  Tuesday 27th, Thursday 29th, Tuesday Aug 3rd, & Thursday Aug 5th
Aug Class #4:   Tuesday 10th, Thursday 12th, Tuesday 17th, & Thursday 19th
Materials Needed: Participants will need weather appropriate clothes, 
lifejacket, sunscreen and sunglasses.  Participants will need a parking permit for Whiskeytown Lake.  Location: Brandy Creek Marina (Redding Yacht Club Boats), Whiskeytown National Recreation Area
