A Taste of History

Come, enjoy an evening of great food and wine, visit with legendary historic personalities, tour Old Shasta Museum’s art collection, listen to the Old Time Fiddlers, and participate in our one of a kind Silent Auction. All of this and more is happening at the Taste of History on May 23rd from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in front of the historic barn at Shasta State Historic Park.Enjoy great food, wine, music, friends and a silent auction in this beautiful setting. This year, historic individuals will appear in character, mingling during the event and sharing stories about how each one impacted Shasta County History. Tours of the Shasta Museum and Courthouse will be available. Tickets are on sale for $40 per person, available at the Society Store at 1449 Market Street, Redding, and also online at https://www.shastahistorical.org. Ticket price at the gate is $45 per person.
